Christian Brothers Academy Day of Giving 2025

The Academy Fund, our annual fund, is the bedrock of CBA’s philanthropic support. Each year we invite the entire CBA family to partner with us as we seek to inspire and equip the world’s next generation by developing men of strong moral character. The funds raised directly support an engaging and rigorous curriculum, stellar faculty recruitment and development, robust academy and counseling support and a significant financial assistance program.

Responding to the call of St. John Baptist de La Salle, CBA seeks to educate the whole person. Central to the Academy’s Mission is the fostering of Faith development, Character development, and the disposition of Service to society. These gifts will go far in our attempt to further develop our growing retreat program, including the newly installed Kairos retreat. Additionally, CBA seeks to add further Service Immersion experiences and local service opportunities which inspire our students to grow in Faith and Character. Gifts to this pillar directly support CBA in its goal of building other-centered men of Faith and Service.

Faculty Professional Development

Gifts support the outstanding faculty who continue to be the hallmark of a CBA education. These funds will help recruit and retain the very best teachers and counselors. Donations will provide faculty with opportunities to continually expand their knowledge, sharpen their skills, and, in turn, enhance the educational experiences for the Academy Men.

Student Financial Aid

Donations made here will empower CBA to remain committed to attract talented, motivated students who have a passion for learning. These funds enable the Academy to provide financial aid to qualified families who are longing for a Lasallian education for their son(s) and would otherwise not be able to be a part of our Christian Brothers community.

Colt PLUS Program (Potential-Learning-Understanding-Support)

The Colt PLUS Program at CBA is an additional service for bright, collegebound students with specific learning needs. These students have the potential to succeed at CBA, but have educational needs that may hinder their success without the proper support. With Colt PLUS, students understand how the proper accommodations, like learning strategies, literacy, and math programs, can enable them to realize and achieve their full potential in our challenging academic setting while becoming as independent as possible in preparation for college. The Colt PLUS Program is an additional fee for families on top of tuition. Donations to the Colt PLUS Program will assist in keeping the program costs down to enable students with specific learning needs to reach their full potential at CBA.

Our robust athletics programming offers young men the opportunity to be part of a team while developing their personal physical fitness and character. Your gift will support our coaches, provide our student athletes with cutting edge equipment, decrease transportation costs, and to help maintain our athletic facilities and fields.

Dynamic Academic Programming

We have continued to enhance our impressive 21st century campus. We are now introducing new and expanded educational programs in business, engineering, digital media, technology, as well as visual and performing arts. These elective courses will be available for Academy men in all grade levels, allowing each student to explore his passion and develop new interests.
