Bernie Arnella '75 Retirement Celebration

Every day was an adventure with Uncle Bernie!

My Dad has a heart of gold and loved everything about CBA. He was always talking about CBA and how proud he was of the facility and the people he worked with. He also loved taking his grandkids to see the school whether it was to ride a truck, a bus, or root on the basketball team! He hopes the CBA family tradition will continue with his grandsons.

Thank you for all that you did to make CBA run for so many years! Your hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed!! My dad truly enjoyed your friendship and always spoke so highly of you. So glad I was able to come back to CBA and experience you and Petey as colleagues! Wishing you all the best in retirement!

Student, Colleague, Assistant, Life Saver and most importantly a Friend. In over 50 years our relationship has changed but never wavered. Many dreams I had for successes at CBA came to fruition because of the efforts of individuals like Bernie Arnella. Love you my Friend!

Since 1971 Bernie has been closely connected to Christian Brothers Academy as a student, athlete, faculty member, Director of Facilities , coach, and the father of two CBA students. His dedication to CBA is outstanding! Enjoy your well deserved retirement!

Bernie has always been so generously giving of his time and his talents. He has made countless contributions to the CBA community! I know he will enjoy his retirement (but Rosie must be missing the campus).

I first met Bernie through Rosie. I love dogs and there was this wonderful man on campus who was so kind and willing to share his dog with me (and all the CBA community). As I got to know Bernie, I quickly learned why she was so loyal to him. Dogs are an excellent judge of character, and she knew, she had picked a winner. I sure hope she's invited to the celebration -- it wouldn't be complete without her!

Bernie is an amazing man and for me, synonymous with the essence of CBA. I wish him the very best in his retirement. He deserves nothing less.

Bernie's lifelong dedication to CBA is a gift to everyone who crosses his path. His dedication, work ethic and friendship are an unbeatable combination.
