Alumni Day of Service 2024

On October 5th, CBA Alumni will have the unique opportunity to come together and support a wonderful cause that aligns perfectly with our values of compassion and service.

All members of our Alumni community are invited to volunteer at Rising Treetops in Oakhurst, NJ. Rising Treetops is a place for those with special needs and their caregivers. It provides a safe, caring and engaging environment that provides a worry-free, much needed break for both their clients and their families.

With a rich history spanning over a century, Rising Treetops is committed to delivering a safe and caring experience for both kids and adults with a broad range of special needs. Rising Treetops offers a year-round wooded camp environment where caregivers have confidence in the quality of care and where clients feel included, are happy, and learn new skills.

For those with special needs, Rising Treetops is a safe haven that nurtures growth, inspires confidence and celebrates joy. While at a camp or respite session, clients enjoy daily activities including arts & crafts, music, drama, I-Pad based learning, swimming, sports, cooking and gardening/nature.

All respite services and summer camp programs are designed to engage clients and improve their skills. Clients have fun, inspire each other, have new experiences, make new friendships, and experience a heightened sense of independence.

On Saturday, October 5th, from 9 am to 12 pm, CBA Alumni will gather to lend a helping hand to this incredible organization. Whether you’re skilled in painting, gardening, manual labor, or simply enthusiastic about contributing in any way, your support will be invaluable. Following the morning of service, we’ll enjoy a lunch together, reflecting on the day and celebrating our collective efforts.

This event promises to be a day of profound meaning, full of stories of unity, dedication, and giving back. It is a chance to not only make a tangible impact but also to showcase the spirit of our local CBA Alumni community.
