About
Employers win most lawsuits, but winning lawsuits is expensive. However, leaders walk out of court never knowing that these lawsuits were truly avoidable. Employees leave court never knowing they had no chance of winning. Beyond the expense of lawsuits, poor employee relations skills account for over 60% of turnover. Employees don’t quit their employer, they quit their leader.
The direct benefit of this program is that leaders demonstrate good judgment, sensitivity, and high confidence in handling employee relations issues. A byproduct is greatly reduced legal exposure, as the result of “Reset the Clock,” a judicially recognized process that prevents an attorney from taking something leaders did wrong in the past and using it to support lawsuits in the future.
Mike Mirarchi, a CBA graduate, is recognized as a leading expert in employment-related lawsuit prevention. As an Employee Relations Counselor, he is dedicated to helping employers stay litigation-free. Drawing from over 30 years of experience in employment and labor law as an employer defense attorney and as a Human Resources Vice President, he developed an innovative program. Through it, participants acquire increased practical knowledge and greater confidence in addressing sensitive employee relations situations.
He has presented the “Reset the Clock” program over 1,300 times to more than 34,000 leaders at employer facilities across North America. In conjunction with various employer, industry, and professional associations, he has conducted live TV broadcasts, webinars, and on-line employee relations programs, in addition to presenting at their regional and national conferences.
Mr. Mirarchi has a B.S. in Business Administration and a Law Degree from Seton Hall University.
