Coach Wiz gave me my first opportunity of working with a high level sports team as a Basketball Team Manager 1999-2003 which was my first step to a lifelong passion of working in sports and media. Coach Cox was a teacher at CBA while my uncle Henry Sundermeyer '64 attended the school among the earliest students to graduate from The Academy.

Both men are legends of CBA's history, not just as coaches but as teachers and men. There are certain people whose accomplishments, personalities and contributions to the school define the core culture and both of these men fall squarely in this category. I was fortunate to experience four years during their time at CBA.
I am thankful to have had both men as teachers. While I didn't play for coach Wiz, I had him as a teacher and my relationship with him has impacted my life in ways that I carry forward to this day.

Congratulations Coach Cox and Coach Wiz. Coach Cox facilitated my love for the game at his camps and watching those late 70's great CBA teams and Coach Wiz was a great coach but more importantly, a better person. He has been a mentor and friend for over 40 years.
